Teaching procedure :
Step 1 Revision
Talk about the students themselves what they used to be like two years ago.
What did she / he look like two years ago ?
He used to be short. / thin / straight hair / funny./ heavy…
Step 2 Activity 1a
1.       Fill in the chart below with words to describe people.
2.       Check the answers in class and expand the words .
Step 3 Activity 1b
1.       Play the tape. The Ss listen and fill in the blanks . What did his friends use to look like ?
2.       Listen again and check up the answers.
Step 4 Activity 1c
1.       Read the conversation
2.       Look at the picture and make conversation in pairs.
3.       Get some pairs to act it out.
Step 5 Activity 2a-2b
1.       Play the tape. The Ss listen and check the words they hear.
2.       Play the tape again . The Ss listen and fill in the blanks with the words they hear.
3.       check the answers in class.
Step 6 Activity 2c
1.       Practice the conversation in activity 2b in pairs.
