2. Work on 3a
Get the students to finish 3a by themselves first.
Check the answers.
Then practice the conversation in pairs.
3. Pairwork. Work on 3b
Get the students to use their own information to practice the questions and answers in 3a.
Then ask some pairs to demonstrate their conversations.
4. Complete the conversation
A: Hello, what’s your name?
A. My name is Nick.
B. I don’t like volleyball.
C. Yes, I do.
D. Do you have a basketball?
E. That sounds exciting.
F. It’s 534-7620.

5. Pairwork. Work on 4.
T asks some questions about the picture on P39 4 to help.
T: Look at the picture on 4.
Where is the computer
game?
Does the girl have a backpack?
Where is the book?
Does Joe have a hat?
Then students work in pairs to find the differences between this picture and the picture on P83 by asking questions like these.
