3. 动词不定式可以在很多动词后面作宾语补足语，构成v.+sb.+ to do sth.形式。
有以下三种情况：
(1) 在ask, tell, want, wish, would like, invite, get,
like等一般的及物动词后面做宾补。to不可以省略。如：
Please tell her not to make any noise. (请告诉她不要弄出声音。)
He asked me to turn off the TV. (他让我把电视关掉。)
All teachers like their students to ask questions.
(所有的老师都愿意学生问问题。)
I’ll get someone to mend my walkman. (我要找一个人修理我的随身听。)
I asked him to call me back at 8. (我告诉他8点给我回电话。)
(2) 在使役动词let, make, have后面以及感官动词feel, hear, see, watch, look
at, notice, listen to等后面做宾语补足语时，动词不定式常省略to。如：
Let’s start. (我们开始吧。)
He made us stay in the classroom. (他让我们呆在教室里。)
I watched my teacher do the experiment first.
(我看老师先做以便一遍实验。)
I often see them take a walk together. (我经常看到他们一起散步。)

(3) 做动词help的宾补时，不定式的to可以省略也可以不省略。如：
They helped the farmers (to) milk the cows. (他们帮助农民挤牛奶。)
(4) 动词不定式作状语修饰动词（多为不及物动词），表示行为的目的。如：
He ran over to welcome us. (他跑过来欢迎我们。)
I went to choose a Christmas tree today. (今天我去选了一棵圣诞树。)
She came to see her uncle a few days later. (几天后她来看望了她叔叔。)
