二.教学目标
    a.能在教师的指导下完成Read and Write；
    b.能听懂、会说本课时单词和词组principal、university student、strict、smart、active。其中四会单词kind、young、smart、active、funny；
    c.能听懂、会说句型Who’s ...? Is she young? Yes,she is./No,she isn’t.并能在情景中进行运用

三.教学重点：四会单词kind、young、smart、active、funny的掌握。
四.教学难点：单词principal、university student的认读和单词smart的理解。

五.教学步骤

    1.Sing songs

    2.Greeting：Good morning!/How are you ?/What’s the weather like today ?/...

    3.分角色朗读Let’s talk

    4.Turn to page 6 -- Read and Write(先听再写，写完后先读一遍再校对)

    5.T:Who’s Mr Carter ?
      S:Tim’s father.
      T:What’s Tim’s full name ？(由此引入C部分的Good to know,介绍中国人的名字和外国人名字的不同.)

  {2}Presentation
    1.由Good to know部分的对话引出单词principal(跟读/分组读--G1: prin、G2:ci、G3: pa、G4:l /男女读/个人读)

    2.T:Who’s your principal ?    S：Mr Lin.
      T:What’s he like ?              S：He’s ...
      T：Is he funny ?                 S：No,he isn’t.
      T：Yes,he’s strict.(由此引出单词strict)

    3.七嘴八舌之《还珠格格》
      T：Do you know 《还珠格格》?          S：Yes.
      T：Who’s strict in 《还珠格格》?        S：皇帝
